Der Berg is my fourth map I made for WaW. My main goal in this project was to create a climate that is non-existant in the game.
As I learned the inner details of the engine, I gradually changed the gameplay dynamics, FX and sound system (in an effort to make it like BO1). Characters, weapons, environment sounds have completely been changed. The base FX of the game has been changed along with the addition of new FX systems.
The project took two years and half. As I had no reference or anything in my while working on the map that is completely original, it took a very long time to complete.
